Canal Carrying Water for Crops Collapses
In late 2016 when a canal carrying water to customers across the Colorado River collapsed, many farms were at risk on the Arizona-California border. Being a farmer without water for any period of time is a challenge, and finding a quick and efficient solution for the U.S. Department of Agriculture was required right away.
Mobile Mini proposed a bypass solution with a water flow of 90,000 gallon of water a minute into a canal for agricultural use. The solution of using of two 42’’ diesel pumps was unique compared to competitors across the nation, and was one of the reasons Mobile Mini was selected for the job.
